This Whistler, BC trip is designed for folks who have a calling for adventure, but still enjoy comfort and quality in a family vacation. This will allow even moderate thrill seekers opportunities to stay within their comfort zone or push past what once were their limits.
When the weather outside is frightful, it is time to get out and get climbing! Ice climbing is an excellent way to get off the beaten path and explore the beautiful terrain that surrounds Leavenworth. Other wintertime adventures in the area include dogsledding, back country skiing, winter camping, and fishing (yes, in the winter!).

A trip that offers a wide variety of activities for the adventurer! Spend the day boating on Lake Chelan, go hiking in the Beebe Springs Wildlife Area, bike up to Pot Mountain and enjoy the view (bring your own bike or rent one). Spend the nights camping at Lake Chelan State Park and Windy Point Campground. Lots of restaurants in the area too if you want to eat out instead of cooking.
For visitors who enjoy a balance between downtime and playtime, a weekend trip to the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie Wilderness offers just a combination. Stay in a beautiful, modern cabin right outside of Glacier, and use the weekend for day hikes in some of the most stunning scenery in the Northwest.

Baker Wilderness, look no further than Picture Lake. This 0.5 mile, family-friendly trail is home to one of the most photographed mountains in North America.
